FAQ
What happens after I complete the On-Ramp program?

After completing the On-Ramp program, you’ll be able to participate in the CrossFit Class, which includes the WOD.

What’s a WOD?

WOD stands for “Workout of the Day.” Every day at CrossFit all of our athletes complete the same workout – appropriately scaled to the individual’s ability and fitness level. Check out our WOD Blog page for examples.

Am I too old for CrossFit?

There is no such thing as being too old! CrossFit is infinitely scalable and can be for anyone, from the elite young athlete to the senior citizen. Our programming is scaled to you and to fit your specific goals and abilities. You will learn and practise all the fundamental movements at your own pace. Not too easy, perhaps, but not out of reach either. You should progress as well as anybody else, if at a different rate and to a different end.

Can I do CrossFit with an old back, neck or knee injury?

Yes, we have had numerous clients who came to us with back, knee, or neck pain who have found relief by strengthening the muscles around the problem area. People often neglect exercising their lower back due to fear of re-injuring and then end up weak, de-conditioned, and more susceptible to injury in the future. Every movement in CrossFit is scalable allowing anyone to take part. For example if we have programmed deadlifts (picking up an object off the ground) you can scale it down using a PVC pipe or even just mimicking the movement as rehab.
